There are 26 hours of
contact time per week between Monday to Friday. The
specific times will vary depending on the number of
classes. |

Will I have to start this
course from Certificate III level? |
|
A |
Yes and no. Usually the
answer is you start at Certificate III and continue
through to Advanced Diploma of Hospitality Management.
If you have some specific industry experience or study
at another institution then we can review your specific
requirements. If you believe you may fall into this
category please contact us immediately as this process
can be time consuming. |

What are the admission
requirements? What kind of documents are needed to
attach with the application form? |

You will find an
application form from www.cothm.edu.pk, which can be
downloaded from this site. You require English IELTS 5.5
equivalent or a minimum of English IELTS 5.0 with a view
of studying 6 months English when you arrive in Pakistan
before commencing your hospitality studies. You will
also need your academic transcript, passport, and you
will need to prove you have sufficient funds in
your/family bank account to get student visa approval. |

the moment. Can I get admitted without an IELTS score? |

Then you need to attend a
written English Test, which will held at our Campus in
Pakistan. |

to find hostels or other suitable accommodation? |

COTHM can assist with
private Home stay or Hostels/Backpackers or shared
accommodation. The enrolment form has provision to
request such assistance. |

Can I maintain my living
cost at PAK Rupees 10,000 per month? Can I work while
studying? Does COTHM help me find a job after enrolling? |

The Pakistan government
requires that you prove that you can support yourself
whilst studying in Pakistan without the need to work.
You are allowed to work for up to 30 hours a week to
enable you to obtain some practical experience to
complement your study. COTHM have alliances with
employment agents and will assist students. Pakistan has an award
wage system which requires employers to pay a minimum
wage usually based on age and experience.

possible in conjunction with Pakistan Embassy/Consulate
in your Country. |

Classes are from Monday to

Our students wear white
shirt, tie and blue trouser. We want our students
to become real and responsible professionals in all

Is it easy to find a job
after graduating ? |

90% of our students find a
job or a traineeship before they even graduate from
COTHM , thanks to our placement office and recruitment
days on campus. The remaining 10% consists of people who
wish to study further, who have to go to the UK or who
decide to take some time off. |

graduates occupy when they enter the hotel industry? |

COTHM graduates usually
start working in a supervisory or assistant manager
position. |

Does the school help
students to find an internship? |

Our internship department
receives offers from hotels all around the world and
puts the students in touch with them. Students are
responsible for finding their second internship as part
of their personal and professional development.

What is the procedure to
obtain a visa? |

Once accepted by our
Institute, the students receive a letter of
confirmation. With this document they must go the to
Pakistani Embassy in their country of residence to start
the visa procedure.
