Course Overview:

The post graduate Diploma is a highly intensive 2-term program providing AHL&A qualification in Hospitality and Tourism and The Post graduate Diploma in Hospitality Management course provides an insight into the challenging Hospitality Industry with emphasis on interpersonal and problem-solving skills that provides students with the necessary knowledge to enter the industry. In addition, it will give the students an international perspective of business and encourages the development of an innovative hotelier mentality. The post graduate Diploma in Hospitality Management program is specifically designed for young Pakistani wishing to enter the international hotel and hospitality field and who are aspiring to a management career in this industry.

Course Objectives:

This program aims at preparing graduates for taking up employment in a business organization, or self employment and / or carrying forward their family businesses. The objectives of this program of study are to enable young learners develop a business sense, and to sensitize them to nuances of service scenarios, with special reference to tourism and other allied areas, to introduce and train graduates, especially for managing tourism and hospitality businesses, among others, to learn principles and practices of management, especially in service sector companies, to enable and equip them as such, so that they are able to apply it in real life situations, and to start new business ventures.. It features basic hotel management courses, hands-on supervisory experience in service and operations, and a professional internship in a hospitality related business.
